Who is the face of kamao?

My name is e s, 17, I’m Afro-Latina, I’m a creative who likes fashion n baking. I have 4 good friends, we always hung out and talked about life. The closest sibling I have is my little brother. I was poor as a kid & teen. I used to get made fun of by mean kids in my grade, during elementary. They would criticize my clothes n shoes. Especially my shoes because they would get old, worn out and start talking to everybody (meaning sole is lifting off the shoe). I fought back a bit but I knew that WASN'T enough to fix my broken ego. I knew I needed money to fix my look. To present to others how I view myself. I had great fashion sense but no one knew cause of poverty. How was I supposed to defend myself with no proof of good style existing. Money would help , Ecclesiastes 7:12 (KJV)

Later, when I was 14 I ignored my Etsy shop for months because I got no sales, and gave up on it only to fall asleep and wake up to sales I’d never thought I’d see. I made $500+ from selling 1 Gilmore Girls mug and lost most of it cause of fees. I only retained 5.4% also there were so many refunds cause I didn’t listen or reply to customers needs. I didn’t even know those customers existed! I still have bad reviews to this day on that store

That BIG loss made me to learn to have patience in business. Lamentations 3:25 (KJV), we know good things come to those who wait. It prepared me for Kamao for better listening to customers, better planning.

I now want to create a business that is not just for self gain. But to Help others , I started Kamao to help teens curate creative, aesthetic lifestyle & fashion goals.

Kamao will soon scale to personalized fashion boxes being sent to our customers door steps. And even looksmaxxing guides/magazines. Those boxes matter to teens (confidence, belonging, self-expression).
